De Vrijheid

Commissioned by Brabant Wonen diederendirrix designed 33 senior and care homes with a small meeting room. The complex is located in an exceptional green area adjacent to and looking out over the Beatrix Park. The homes encircle a central, covered atrium which gives the building a multi-sided appearance. The facade of the complex is thus traffic free allowing optimal use of the view, outer space and natural light for the housing. The white outer facade with its large windows gives the complex a friendly and inviting appearance.
