Office Excursion Luxembourg City
1 October 2026
Last week, it was time for our annual two-day office excursion. With Luxembourg City as our final destination, we embarked on a journey focused on inspiration, enjoyment, and discovering places with remarkable stories to tell.
The first day began at C-Mine, where the rich history of the former mining site has been given new meaning as a hub for culture, creativity, and connection.
Later that day, we visited Kirchberg, Luxembourg City’s European business district, where we were introduced to the decades-long development of this urban area and its significance for both the region and Europe.
After an enjoyable evening in the city centre, known for its unique location between valleys, iconic bridges, and historic architecture, the second day started on an active note with several running routes through the old city, allowing us to explore it further in daylight.
To conclude the excursion, we travelled back to Eindhoven via Belval. This transformed former steelworks site is an absolute must-visit. Around, beneath, and even on top of the monumental blast furnace structures, a new urban district has been developed, providing space for education, research, culture, living, and working. It is a highly inspiring place where industrial heritage and contemporary urban development come together in a remarkable way.
With new impressions and fresh inspiration in our luggage, we returned to Eindhoven ready to get back to work.
