The essence of the complex, determined by the program, is characterized by relatively small blocks in the shape of the rooms. A special, yet functional organization of these spaces is the crux of the design. The solution was found in a concept of unfolded courts. By the orientation of the volume, all the rooms overlook a quality private outdoor area and get ample sunlight. At community group level this characteristic can even be a binding theme. The living spaces of the different communities are situated in the axils of the courtyards. Thus they are logistically very central and they have an attractive and clear view of their own outdoor space. The interpretation of the architecture goes hand in hand with the spatial concept. At the incisions, the materialization is conceived as more malleable, both in the materialization as in the detailing. The human scale and greenery is in harmony with the tactile facades. The windows are generously sized and are floor to floor height or the window sill is kept low for an optimal relationship with outside. At the outer edges, the facade treatment is abstracter, mainly reflected in the details. The floor lines give the movement a slender shape and articulate the story in an elegant way.
