At the corner of the Vestdijk and the Raiffeisenstraat in Eindhoven diederendirrix researched the possibilities for the development of a residential building with a commercial baseboard. The study included high-rise and low-rise volumes and a fixed core with surrounding space for a flexible floor plan. The design of the high-rise includes a facade rhythm fitting to the dynamic of the Vestdijk. The low-rise owes its plasticity to the roof landscape with different levels of outdoor spaces designed for the apartments.
