This unique stainless steel kitchen element is made without visible welding and directionless brushing reinforces the impression that the object is made from one piece. The elegant form contradicts the massiveness of the table that actually weighs 400 kilo. The water pipes, waste pipe and electrical wiring are hidden inside. The dimensions are 4000 x 800 x 920mm and the height of the tabletop is 750mm. With its cloaked abstraction and slightly unconventional form, this piece of furniture is a small-scale example of diederendirrix’s architectural vision.
