In the urban redevelopment plan for Oranje Haeve, a new mix of care provision and housing is created. diederendirrix based this plan on the current characteristic elements of the location. The greenery on the edge of the area is built up to form a pleasant park and the street, lined on one side with trees, is replicated. The apartment blocks alternate with a green zone. A plaza for socialisation and relaxation lies at the heart of the plan. This inviting scheme is easily adapted for either care provision or housing needs.
