Design for a multipurpose center on Kanaleneiland in Utrecht, embedded in a park setting. The complex, in which various community and housing functions will be incorporated, includes a health and dental practice, community and childcare facilities, a church and 25 homes that are suitable for group living. These features were combined, so that justice is done to their individuality and their distinct needs. On the other hand, the design aims to maximize communal and practical use of the common areas.
