This building forms the transition between three large research buildings belonging to the Agricultural University of Wageningen and the open meadows behind. It is a combination of storage space and laboratories. Due to the request for an extendable building, diederendirrix chose a linear structure of interlinked trusses. These can be lengthened with identical trusses or widened by the addition of a third series of trusses. The facades have different finishes, and depending on the function of the area inside, are either closed, or completely or partially open. The truss construction produces a continuous rooflight along the central isle.
