The planning area is located around Stadion de Vliert and the Sportiom in ’s-Hertogenbosch and is bordered by the Graafsewijk, the Stadionlaan and old Hintham. In the urban development plan the current transferium and the training fields of FC Den Bosch are relocated to the events area between the Stadion and the Sportium. The infill for the area is a new mix of sport and housing together with themes such as accommodation, employment, parking and green zones. An important mainstay of the area is the central park in which the current green space is increased and developed into a landscaped park with plenty of space for sport and recreation. At the edges of the park, the new ground-access apartments blend with existing structures in Graswijk and old Hintham. On the north side of the planning area, parallel to the railway line, the apartment blocks face the park. A couple of special accents such as sport fields and gardens are placed in the public spaces between the housing.
